Bush House, London

This is the home of the BBC World Service. Note armed guards at the gate. If it looks like the headquarters of some sort of empire, I suppose that's no accident: The building sits near "Australia House" and "India House" on Aldwych Square. An American named Bush put this one up in the '20s -- no relation to the Connecticut cowboy -- and the statues stand for British-American friendship.
