The Iraqi kidnappers who nabbed two Indonesian women earlier this week now say they want to see Abu Bakar Ba'asyir walk free before they release their captives.
Interestingly:
One of his lawyers said Bashir is angry at the kidnappers because taking hostages, especially women, is outlawed in Islam. He called for the immediate and unconditional release of the women.
So, the kidnappers are just Ba'asyir's fans? Not connected to him at all? Weird, weird.
