Boogie Nights

Two people have written recent nice things about the novel: a friend from high school named Brian Wanamaker, who works in Osaka, Japan, and Rodger Jacobs, a total stranger who just liked the book. (He also runs a web site here.) What they both react to is the L.A. landscape -- in Rodger's case because he still lives in it, in Brian's case because he doesn't. Thanks guys.
