Paddling MachineIn advance of big-surf season I just bought a used Al Merrick gun, 8'0", from an Australian down the street, who told me, "Mate, this boahd's a peddlin' machine." He's right. I just took it out in some lame Ocean Beach wind chop, and managed to have a good time.
The board won't fit in the closet, so it has to stand in my office, where in this photo Bruno the cat sits helpfully nearby, for scale.
