Blazing DuffersI don't know who Timothy Peters is, but I'm glad he's got a dictionary. Someone should tell him that Bildungsroman is a perfectly solid German word, not a "German-French hybrid" -- at least no more than "coming-of-age novel" is an "English-French hybrid."
Critics can be so thick sometimes.
