Bungled Diplomacy, 3A three-way summit on a little mid-Atlantic island sounds to me like a secret war council, not a last try for diplomacy. And here's a pop quiz: Which corporation has been tipped to extinguish any blazing oil fields left behind by Saddam? a) Halliburton b) Halliburton c) Halliburton, or d) Halliburton?
On March 6 the Pentagon, breaking its previous silence on the matter, announced that a division of Halliburton, the oil-services firm previously headed by Vice-President Dick Cheney, will co-ordinate the oil-fire fighting efforts if they are needed.
