Sure enough,someone has tried to lay a Rushdie-style fatwa on the head of the Nigerian journalist, Isioma Daniel, who made a crack about Muhammed wanting to marry one of those Miss World contestants. (Her remark in a newspaper set off the riots.) And now everyone is blaming her, Daniel, rather than Islamic fanatacism. Via Bookslut.
